The Grubstak Story
Grubstak is a one-of-a-kind up-scale fast casual restaurant that believes unique food creates wonderful conversations! Using fresh, familiar (but sometimes surprising) ingredients, Grubstak truly stacks on the flavor in it's Signature Staks, Salads, Sandwiches, Wraps, and Brunch Items and more!
Grubstak was featured on Guy Fieri’s show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on The Food Network. It was episode 4 of the 28th Season called, “All Kinds of Comfort.” The two dishes featured on the episode were signature staks picked by Guy: Sweet Lou’s BBQ and Grubstak’s take on Chilaquiles.

THE GRUBB IN GRUBSTAK
Grubstak is locally owned and operated by Colton Grubb, a third-generation Arizona businessman and grandson of Valley automotive icon Lou Grubb. The family tradition of commitment to integrity, customer service and community continues with Colton and Grubstak.
In 1945, with $27 dollars in his pocket and a dream to make a life if Arizona, Lou Grubb boarded a train from Long Island and never looked back. Through hard work and dedication, he built one of the most recognizable and trusted businesses in Phoenix with Lou Grubb Chevrolet. As part of his legacy, Lou conceived Take 5, a popular five-minute long radio series focused on sharing stories, philosophies and beliefs rather than selling cars. Take 5 resonated with Valley residents and endeared Lou to the community. His love for his work and his passion customers lives on through Colton.
